In
most cases we require that you have an active phone
service from your local incumbent telephone service
provider to get SpeedQwest DSL. However, in certain
geographical locations, we can provide our DSL with out
an active phone service. When checking availability,
please enter the full ten (10) digit home / business
phone number and address. If the result shows
"unavailable", recheck availability by
checking the box for "Address Only" and enter
the address where you desire our DSL
service.
Why
do we need your Phone Number and Physical Address?
To qualify your location for our services, we must make sure
that your telephone number and address are with in our service
foot-print. Providing this information for service qualification does not obligate
you to sign-up for our services. This information is not stored
in our system. The information requested here is merely to check
service availability at your residence or business location.
In most of our service areas, you must have a wired
active phone service from your local phone service
provider, however, select service locations do not
require an active phone service.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not use a cell phone number to check DSL availability. If
your home / business phone service provider is NOT your
local phone company (No VoIP Number) , check
availability only by your address. Phone service
provided by a cable company is usually a VoIP (Internet)
phone.
